When I came to see Dr. Manning, I had misaligned bottom teeth predominantly as the result of like essentially an old retainer that kind of had warped on the bottom. And so we talked about my goals for the future and so the first step was really to get my teeth properly aligned. So I came in to see Dr. Manning because I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Unfortunately, I didn’t know that I had sleep apnea. My husband did.
The sleep doctor wanted to put me on a CPAP machine and that was not the route I wanted to go. So I called Dr. Manning and asked her what services she had and she said come in and try sleep appliance. So she fitted me for one and I’ve been wearing one now for three years.
The sleep appliance has been phenomenal. It’s changed my life. I am sleeping through the night.
My husband is sleeping through the night and I feel more rested when I wake up. I have more energy through the day. I was crashing around 10 o’clock every day and couldn’t figure out what it was but it was just because I had had a horrible night’s sleep.
I didn’t realize how bad my sleep was until my sleep became better. I think from just entering the building alone, the people from the front desk, they are very kind. They are very generous, very welcoming.
Her dental hygienists are the same way. They’re very personable. They’re very professional.

So one of the issues that I had was I needed a root canal and Dr. Manning got me prepped and ready for that. Every time I came in I told her how nervous I was because I had a previous root canal by another dentist done and it didn’t turn out well. And so Dr. Manning assured me that if I gave her an opportunity she and her team would get me done and to be honest that procedure was not painful at all.
And I was blown away because to be honest I didn’t believe her because of my past experience. But everything went well and I healed properly, placed a cap on and I’ve been doing great ever since. She recommended that I continue to do my cleaning at home which entails me making sure that I’m also flossing properly, brushing properly, make sure that I’m gargling, make sure I’m not eating items that can actually cause damage to the cap that she put over top of that area and make sure I keep my regular checkups with her.
My problem has been resolved so it’s excellent, everything is great. You see I’m smiling now. Oh I love showing my teeth even more now because of what she did, what Dr. Manning did.
I smile more, I’m more confident just knowing that when I come here and any problem that I have, if I have any problems in the future, that Dr. Manning will make sure that it’s taken care of.

The reason why I needed an implant was I had a crown and the crown got loose and when it got loose, it went bad, which just through 10 years, 12 years of having it, normal wear and tear. So Dr. Manning went in, looked at it and determined that we were going to have to do another course of action. She laid out all my options.
The cool thing was that she went through my insurance to tell me what was covered, which way would be the best way to be the least out of pocket, but still get the care that I need, which is truly important. And then we laid out how long it would take, right? It was a six month to nine month venture. It was just a lengthy process, but the whole time truly communicating to me what the expectation was going to be, what was going on and if something needed to be pushed, they let me know when that would happen to adjust through, you know, work schedules and vacations and things of that nature.
So other than that, it was a smooth transition for the most part of care. Not only would I recommend this practice, I’ve recommended this practice to many a people. Truly love this practice.
