Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we will now be implementing in our practice to keep patients and staff safe. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS), and the NC Dental Board. We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

  • The staff will be wearing more PPE: face shields,KN95 masks, disposable gowns, gloves, and booties

  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.

  • We will also be taking your temperature before you fully enter the office.

  • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect and operatory countertops will essentially be bare except for necessary equipment and cleaning/sanitizing products.

  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment or we may have to move your appt to a later date in order to accommodate the new recommended staggered scheduling for everyone's safety.

  • The reception area will be closed for the unforeseeable future to abide by social distancing rules.

  • Only the patient being treated is allowed into the office so you are temporarily no longer allowed to bring your spouse, etc. back to the treatment area and if you bring kids with you they cannot wait in the reception area, they or any other family members that do not  have appts will have to remain in your vehicle.

  • The clinical staff will schedule your next visit in the operatory treatment room to avoid patient standing at the front desk.

  • We are also asking all NEW PATIENTS fill out the necessary Forms on our website and print and bring them with you to your appointment to save time and avoid filling out forms in your car. Hit the 'FORMS" tab at the top of the HOME PAGE. ALSO PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE USING INTERNET EXPLORER/MICROSOFT EDGE IT WILL PROMPT YOU TO "LEAVE THIS PAGE" TO CONTINUE TOWARDS FILLING OUT THE FORMS.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 704-545-3243 or click the Schedule Online link on this site. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
